心理疾病及精神障礙可能會使人失去工作,家庭和諧,還有失去尊嚴、活動能力、精心規劃的未來,失去曾經擔當的角色,或者失去存在價值。 這些失去感會引發悲傷,對人的整個身心狀況產生影響,包括身體、社交、情感和精神上的影響 。在這個講座中,注冊心理輔導師Ginny Wong會和大家介紹喪失和悲傷,悲傷的表現和階段,以及分享如何幫助悲傷的人度過心理難關。

打開心窗互助小組是爲親身經歷過心理精神困擾的人及其照顧者而成立的情緒互助小組。透過保密性的互相交流,可以盡情訴説心中事。該活動為大家提供一個自我幫助成長的機會,並藉著多角度思維,多選擇方式思考來學習以更積極的方式去工作與生活,面對人生的挑戰。

Due to mental health issues and mental disorders, people may lost many things, like their jobs, harmony with their families, dignity, mobility, well-planned future, roles they once played, existence values. These feelings of loss can cause grief and have an negative impact on a person in terms of physical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects. In this webinar, Ginny Wong, registered clinical counselor, will introduce loss and grief, the manifestations and stages of grief, and share how to help people cope with grief and get over the loss.

This confidential interactive “Heart to Heart Sharing Group” is part of the Richmond Chinese Family Support Group. We meet once a month dedicated to provide people with an opportunity to understand the importance of proper and open communications in a positive manner through sharing and mutual support. Our focus is to encourage positive thinking and personal growth in dealing with daily issues.
